And long story short, unless your Z is fully raced out and no longer street legal or 25+ years old, it can't come into the states, stay in the states, and legally drive in the states. Even on a temp permit, you will have to prove the car has left the country or have it crushed. Even then, it's difficult. I am in a similar situation. I am in Italy and have a 96 S14 200SX (Euro Silvia [LHD]). My plan.... renting a container, sawz-alling the car in two, and bringing it back in halves.
